Snider to retire from Family Health West
Errol Snider, an executive with Family Health West who also held a number of public offices over the years, is retiring at the end of June.
Snider, who will be 64 in June, came to FHW in 1990 as director of its foundation and as human resources director.
He later became executive vice president and chief operating officer.
“I can say without any reservation that I have been privileged to work with a staff that understands the vision of Family Health West,” Snider said. “People who value doing the ‘right thing,’ just not ‘being right.’”
During his years at FHW, the organization has added eldercare, outpatient services and a full-service hospital.
Snider served as a Mesa County commissioner from 1977-1981 and as Fruita city manager from 1981-1986 before joining FHW.
He also served on the School District 51 school board from 1975-1977.
