JUNE 1
Theft from auto was reported in the 1000 block of Echo Canyon Street.
JUNE 3
Officer contacted a 27-year-old male in the 200 block of N. Peach Street for having a revoked license. He was arrested for driving under revocation for alcohol offenses.
JUNE 4
Officers responded to the 200 block of Honeysuckle Circle for a welfare check. The case was forwarded to Child Protection Services.
Child abuse was reported in the 100 block of Westwater Circle. The case is currently under investigation.
JUNE 5
A 32-year-old female was contacted for a traffic violation at 18 Road and E. Grand Avenue. She was arrested and released on a summons for driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving and child abuse.
JUNE 6
A citizen requested a civil standby regarding a child custody exchange in the 1200 block of E. Carolina Avenue.
A citizen reported that the rear license plate to his vehicle had been lost.
Person(s) unknown drove a vehicle into a parked trailer at 400 N. Mesa Street and then fled the scene.
JUNE 7
A one-vehicle, non-injury traffic accident occurred at 17 Road and Kings View Road.
A citizen reported two fraudulent charges on a gas credit card. There is suspect information and the case is under investigation.
A 41-year-old male in the 1400 block of S. Gemini Circle was arrested for third degree assault domestic violence after forcefully grabbing his spouse and pushing her head into a wall. He was booked into the Mesa County Jail.
JUNE 8
An assault was reported in the 100 block of Bonnie Vista Drive. A known male subject unlawfully entered the victim’s residence and assaulted her causing minor injury. The case is under investigation.
JUNE 9
Two males, a 18-year-old and 19-year-old, were arrested after they struck another subject with small wooden bats causing serious bodily injury in the 100 block of Honeysuckle Circle. The subjects also caused about $100 in property damage.
A car key belonging to a Toyota vehicle was found in the park by a passerby. The keys were taken to the Fruita Police Department and booked into found property.
JUNE 10
A juvenile female, 17, who was a runaway from Park County, was contacted in the 200 block of Honeysuckle Circle. She was later released to her parents.
JUNE 11
Officers responded to a report of a theft from auto in the 300 block of North Sycamore. Unknown person(s) unlawfully entered an unlocked vehicle and removed contents.
Theft from auto occurred in the 200 block of N. Cedar Court. Unknown person(s) unlawfully entered and stole property from a vehicle.
