JUNE 8
Theft from auto occurred in the 800 block of E. Ottley Avenue. Someone entered a vehicle and a payroll check for over $200 was stolen.

JUNE 16
A wallet was removed from the dashboard of an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of E. Grand Avenue valued at less than $500.

JUNE 17
Officers responded to a report of lost property in the 1100 block of E. Carolina Avenue. A black wallet was reported stolen.

JUNE 18
Someone cut a garden hose valued at $25 outside a residence in the 1100 block of E. Carolina Ave.
A 19-year-old-male was issued a summons charging him with theft on suspicion of taking two flower pots valued at $35 from the front porch of a residence in the 1100 block of W. Addington Lane. A juvenile petition is being requested for a juvenile male, 16, who assisted with the theft.
Officers took a report of suspected identity theft.
A verbal disturbance was reported in the 1100 block of E. Carolina Avenue. Four marijuana plants were found and Stetson Hayes, 19, was arrested for cultivating marijuana plants with the intent to distribute.

JUNE 19
Theft occurred in the 500 block of Jurassic Court. A Cannon Digital Rebel camera valued at $700 was stolen. The case is under investigation.
A man hit golf balls at a neighboring house creating risk of harm to the occupants in the 100 block of Pinyon Drive. When confronted by police, the suspect ran into his house and refused to cooperate with the investigation. A 21-year-old male was given a summons for reckless endangerment, obstructing a peace officer, and disorderly conduct.

JUNE 20
A tan Labradoodle type dog was running at-large in the 900 block of Elberta Drive. Animal Control responded and returned the dog back to its residence. A male was issued a summons for charges of dog at large.
A person called the Family Dollar store at 1668 Hwy. 6 & 50 and attempted to scam them out of money for a purchase that was not actually made.
At the request of Mesa County Probation, a home visit/welfare check was conducted on a residence in the 800 block of E. Ottley Avenue. The information was forwarded to the Department of Human Services.

JUNE 21
Officers responded to a family dispute that was a civil matter in the 700 block of Silverplume Drive.
A three-year-old child left her home in the 1200 block of Inverness Way without her mother’s knowledge and was found walking in the neighborhood by two passersby who contacted law enforcement. An officer returned the child to her mother.
Neighbors in the 200 block of Pinyon Drive. reported dogs not being controlled by the owner and approaching people in an aggressive manner.
A man subjected a woman to unwanted sexual contact without her consent in the 1100 block of Richwood Avenue. The case is under investigation.

JUNE 22
A vehicle collided with another vehicle in the roundabout intersection at Highway 340 and I-70, causing substantial damage but no injuries. One of the drivers, an 18-year-old male, was issued a citation for careless driving.
Dogs in the 100 block of W. Meadow Avenue were running at-large and came onto the property of 636 N. Plum St. The dogs were digging in the garden. The dogs were a gray Dingo type and black/white Boston Terrier type. A female was cited for animal at large, second offense.

JUNE 23
A juvenile boy, 13, was taken to Colorado West Mental Health after making suicidal statements.
$40 in checks were taken from a house in the 800 block of Mahogany Street.

JUNE 24
Tires and wheels from a bicycle valued at $800 were stolen from the Comfort Inn, 400 Jurassic Ave.
A black and green Mongoose bicycle valued at $100 was stolen from a front yard in the 200 block of Honeysuckle Circle.
A dog was running at large in the 100 block of S. Elm Street. A male was identified as the owner of the animal and issued a summons for animal at large.
An intoxicated male was reported in the 100 block of Sunset Drive. A 21-year-old male was arrested for third degree assault, harassment and possession of marijuana.
Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief at 383 Oakwood Ave. A window valued at $500 was damaged.

JUNE 25
Officer responded on a theft complaint when $6,755 worth of items were removed from a private residence on two occasions separated by a six-week time period. The case is under investigation.
A two-vehicle private property accident occurred in the parking lot of City Market.
