NBC coverage of games is outstanding

London Olympics showing world talent
Reading newspapers is a good habit; you not only look for what you’re interested you have the gift of seeing what reporters, photographers, and editors want you to see and read.
No matter what the future holds for all sorts of media it will take fine writers and editors to prepare the copy along with honesty and integrity in being truthful and ethical as humanly possible.
Fox News taking a conservative stance has led the way to partisan news coverage. MSNBC has followed suit with a liberal viewpoint. CNN drifted to the liberal side but now seem to be one of the best sources of accurate news reporting.
I’ll turn into Fox to see what the Hannity slant is and then move over to see what is happening with on the scene CNN.
The Olympic coverage by NBC is top-notch, the camera work, editing, extended programming is just outstanding. While the athletes continue to make new records and feats so does NBC with the professional work of covering the myriad of events.
There is something inherently good about the Olympics that seem to heal some of the world wounds. Seeing the future leaders of the world competing together at one venue just seems to be a positive period of time for athletes, fans, and national pride.
No doubt we’ll have a parade of some sort for our new Superstar Missy Franklin, the young swimmer from Centennial. She is just such a warm human being and represents what sports can do for a person and their personality.
She is an inspiration for young women and men and she is making world and Colorado history. The Fruita Times’ sister paper The Villager, located in Greenwood Village, was lucky enough to catch up with the young phenom. See page 16 of today’s Fruita Times to learn more about this young lady so that you, too, can be inspired.
