The following items were selected from reports made to the Fruita Police Department:
Officers responded to a report of verbal disturbance in the area of Comstock Drive and Gold Ruch Drive. A juvenile male, age 16, was arrested for Third Degree Assault on his mother.
During an investigation, officers were informed an adult female was providing minors with alcohol. The investigation is continuing.
Officers responded on a domestic violence incident. A 27-year-old male was charged with Harassment, Criminal Mischief, Domestic Violence and taken to Mesa County Jail.
Officers contacted a 67-year-old man, for a possible harassment at the Fruita Coop. No charges are being filed at this time.
Officers took a report of a theft of $200 in the 100 block of S. Park Square. Case is under investigation.
Officers contacted a 25-year-old female, for a broken brake light in the area of 18 Road and E. Carolina Avenue. She was arrested for Driving Under Revocation as a habitual traffic offender, Driving Under the Influence of Drugs, Possession of a Schedule II substance and No insurance.
Officers responded to the 1100 block of E. Carolina Avenue for a report of child abuse. Case is under investigation.
A 22-year-old female was issued a Summons for neglecting an at-risk adult she was caring for.
A 28-year-old female was issued a Summons for dog at large after officers received a report of two dogs running at large.
A known male was taken to Colorado West Mental Health for an evaluation after he made threats to harm himself.
A 28-year-old female was issued a Summons for Third Degree Assault. This was done after she knowingly struck the victim in the head causing minor pain and injury. The investigation is continuing as another arrest is pending.
Officers responded to the 900 block of 19 Road in reference an unattended death. The case is under investigation.
