Family Health West is proud to welcome Lenay Goble to the Family Health West therapy team.  Originally from McClave, Colorado, Lenay pursued her undergraduate in Audiology and Speech-Language Sciences and graduate degree in Speech Pathology at the University of Northern Colorado.  After finishing her studies, she completed two externships, one at Eastern Colorado Board of Cooperative Services in Bennett, Colo., working with school aged children, and the other at Greenwood Village Health and Rehabilitation, working with adults with swallowing and cognition difficulties.  Lenay then went on to work as a speech-language pathologist at Southeast Colorado Board of Cooperative Educational Services in 2009-2010.

She then moved to the Western Slope where she worked for the Montrose County School District and the Uncompahgre Board of Cooperative Services.  She now brings her specialty in pediatric speech-language impairments to Fruita. “Family Health West is unique in that it allows for the opportunity to work with patients of all ages with a wide variety of needs. I am excited to work with patients and their families in order to improve communication and swallowing to ultimately increase their overall quality of life,” says Lenay.

“We are fortunate to have Lenay on our team providing pediatric speech-language therapy to our community,” said Mark J. Francis, Family Health West President and CEO, “She is truly an asset to our patients and their families.”

When Lenay has free time, she enjoys volleyball, snow skiing, scuba diving, basketball, running, and hiking.
