Country’s first solar store opens in Mesa Mall

A number of high performing companies now take their products and knowledge directly to customers. Apple leaps to mind. Today, in a bold and one-of-a-kind move for its industry, Syndicated Solar, Inc., the Grand Junction-founded residential solar installation firm, is taking a page from that high-tech giant’s success book by opening its doors in Mesa Mall with the first residential solar retail store in the country.
“We visit with customers in their homes every day and are astonished to find how few people understand how much money they can truly save,” said Justin Pentelute, Founder and CEO of Syndicated Solar. “Our offering requires no money out-of-pocket and provides immediate savings on utility bills, as well as protection against rate jumps tomorrow.”
No other company has tried this direct approach to a broader potential customer base. Syndicated Solar will reach more people using this new wave of retail storefronts, following the highly-visible lead of companies like Apple, AT&T and Disney with their engaging customer experience. Customers now have an opportunity to learn specifics about the financial benefits available with solar energy.
The store, located next to Cabela’s inside the mall, features interactive iPad use, where customers can see specifically how their monthly electricity costs could be reduced. They will also be able to view satellite images of their rooftops to see if their home is a good candidate for solar and how the technology can be adapted to their individual situation. At the same time, visitors will be able to meet with knowledgeable solar consultants to get all questions answered, and receive tailored proposals and installation details on the spot.
